Our Imperial Pumpkin Ale has notes of Pumpkin, Spices, and Vanilla. A perfect blend of Sweet and Spice. The Malts we use are American and English base Malts with a generous amount of Munich Malt for Balance and Flavor. No canned Pumpkins used in our beer! We use THOUSANDS of pounds of Fresh Hand-peeled Hyper-local™ Pumpkins covered in gallons of Fresh Maze Honey and Brown Sugar.

ORIGIN STORY
Folks can get upset that they have to wait until at least mid-September to get this beer, but they can't be upset with the end result. The crazy trick: we use real PA pumpkins. Little fact: the pie-pumpkins we use in this beer (all 3,000 tons) aren't ripe until then. Kind of makes a person wonder how authentic other pumpkin beers are when they hit shelves in August / early September. We don't have a "canned" excuse for making the beer earlier than then. As for the name...it's a no-brainer. Lumberjacks are a big part of the logging world. Pumpkins are used to make jack-o-lanterns. You put those together and you get a Lumberjack-o-Lantern!
